I miss you, Sara!

I was looking through old photos today and happened upon one of Sara, who decided her husband's education was more important than her friends in Lubbock and recently moved to Austin. This picture cracked me up and then made me a little sad because I miss her! Sara, the office is just not the same without your cart-wheels and disgusted looks after I've told you the birth stories of my kids... and my tummy misses your excellent cooking! Also, I will use this blog to shamelessly BEG you to meet us in Dallas in June for the concert... Please?

Oh Blogger, how I have missed thee...

FINALLY! I'm back... with a whole new blog because, sadly I could no longer remember my old email addresses or passwords to get back into my old one. It's probably just as well, seeing as it had been over a year since my last entries anyway!
So much has happened in our lives during this hiatus from the internet, yet much remains the same. Allen is still on the railroad and still gone most of the time, but I'm finally learning to cope and deal with being a pseudo-single mom. Ashlyn just turned 4, which doesn't seem possible and Kenly will be 2 in a couple of months; also incomprehensible.
Unfortunately for the martyrs who choose to read this little gathering of my thoughts; I have an entire year's worth of embarrassing tales and random epiphanies stored up and ready to post, but as usual - most of the embarrasment falls on me and will perhaps get a laugh out of a few of you!
I'll post updated pictures of the kids tomorrow- I promise!
